Looking for sheets that stay cool, and crisp to the touch? Chances are, you are either looking for linen sheets, or percale (cotton) sheets.

With unmatched absorption properties, linen is highly durable, cool to the touch, and as such it has historically been the choice of royalty. Today, however, it is more common for people to opt for cotton in a percale weave. Percale sheets utilize a tight weave which seeks to emulate the breathability and moisture absorbing properties of linen; while they do not meet the same standards as linen sheets, they are often softer, and cozier.
