For a softer, non innerspring construction mattress, Royal-Pedic's Natural Organic Latex Quilt-Top Mattress provides motionless comfort and independent support for varying body weights. The mattress comes standard with a one-zone all natural latex core. Compared to memory foam, the latex is more resilient, offering noticeably better support. It is also all natural, hypoallergenic, absorbs heat, and will last longer than memory foam. The mattress is quilted on the surface with layers of Royal-Pedic's chemical free French wool to provide an all natural fire barrier, and enhanced ventilation of body heat.

The standard latex core can optionally be upgraded to a 7-Zone all natural latex core, which was designed based upon sleep studies at the Kirshgartenclinic in Basel, Switzerland by Swiss researcher and sleep specialist, Dr. Dietrich Scheider-Helmert. It contains 16.5% more thickness in latex as well as ergonomically designed 7-Zone technology for enhanced shoulder and hip flexibility, with correct support for the lower back. The 7-Zone design was found to provide optimal sleeping comfort and ergonomic support to all parts of the body.
