Bernardaud - fine linens, bath, tabletop & home decor @ The Linen Tree Scottsdale
Most orders over $100 will ship for about $5 to the United States. Some exceptions will apply and will be noted per item.

Expedited shipping options are available according to estimated expenses. However, the actual shipping method will be determined in part by actual shipping expenses, relative to funds paid. If you need an item by a specific date, please let us know beforehand so that we can verify costs and availability.

Our store is located in Scottsdale, Arizona, and we usually ship orders via UPS (sometimes USPS). However, some items will ship directly from their manufacturer.

For international orders - we will contact you with an estimate of shipping costs after you place your order; you will be given the option of paying the shipping costs or cancelling your order.

Items that we have in stock, or which we regularly keep in stock, are considered eligible for return within 30 days of the date of delivery. To guarantee a refund, items must be in their original packaging and their original condition - and not laundered; otherwise we may, at our discretion, refuse your return. For stocked items being returned within 15 days of delivery - you may request a prepaid shipping label and we will send one to you via e-mail as a courtesy (exceptions may apply for particularly large, heavy and/or bulk shipments).

While we may be more lenient with returns when items are purchased online rather than with the direct assistance of our sales staff, we reserve the right to refuse returns of merchandise that is special ordered from a manufacturer. Such requests will be treated on a case by case basis and may be heavily influenced by the manufacturer's return policy (or lack thereof). We will also usually refuse returns on items which are custom made, as well as items which have been shipped outside of the United States.

Please contact us with any related questions before placing an order. Thanks!

Bernardaud
"The art of fire is subtle and presents us with constant challenges. It excites us to always go further. I accept the challenge. It is a challenge that demands time before all else. It is the path of perfection.” - Michel Bernardaud

Bernardaud perpetuates and diversifies traditional skills and techniques in the fabrication of porcelain and thus preserves a valuable component of the cultural heritage of France. This pioneering French company has remained an authority on the art of fine porcelain for almost 150 years - current president Michel Bernardaud has even written the book. Stemming from a factory that opened in 1863, the company was acquired in 1900 by a distinguished apprentice named Léonard Bernardaud who lent the company his family name. Today, Bernardaud Porcelain artisans use the same technique of hand sculpting fine, bisque porcelain (non-glazed) that was first demonstrated by French artist Paul de Bourgoing in 1828.

In 1986, the company acquired The Ancienne Manufacture Royale, part of the Manufacture de Sèrves, an organization that supplied fine porcelain tableware to the royal families of France during the 18th and 19th centuries. The Ancienne Manufacture Royale remains today, creating identical reproductions of 18th and 19th century masterpieces.
