Jan Barboglio’s Spring 2021 collection has been inspired by the concept of Blessings – a classic Jan Barboglio theme than Jan has chosen to emphasize now more than ever before. As of yesterday, we already have several of the new pieces on our floor, and others remain on order. You can view most of the new pieces in Jan’s Spring 2021 catalog. Scroll below to view some of the new items we currently have in stock.

We were all reminded that we have so many things to be thankful for. Taking them for granted is no longer an option. This season we were inspired by the beautiful notion of Blessings, both counting them and giving them.

‘Salud y benidiciones’ to all.

Mike + Ally is set to turn 30 next year. The company, situated in New York City, is anxious to put 2020 behind it, and is looking forward to celebrating its status atop a pinnacle in the world of bespoke luxury bath accessories.

In anticipation of its 30th anniversary, Mike + Ally has teamed up with Swarovski Crystals to introduce several special new collections. A fitting partner for Mike + Ally, the Swarovski brand is recognized for it’s pioneering spirit, inspiring designers in over 170 countries with over 250 different cuts and shapes of crystals. Its unique technology uses advanced optical measurement and high precision cutting to produce consistent color and optimal color saturation across all cuts and sizes.

More on the new Swarovski Collection in a bit; we figure this is a good place and time to celebrate, or at least share, the history of Mike + Ally. While most of her friends went off to college, Ally Rosson found herself accepted to a prestigious Metalsmith program under the tutelage of Finnish Master metalsmith (and sculptor) Heikki Seppä. She would proceed to enter the world of fashion accessory design. After Cartier NY picked up some of her belt buckle designs, her confidence grew and it was not long before she and a former partner, jewelry designer Michael Nash, founded Mike + Ally.

At first, Mike + Ally set out to design functional personal accessories – such as jeweled hand mirrors and lipstick cases. It was actually their first retail customer – Bergdorf Goodman – that suggested they could fill an even bigger void by manufacturing luxury, ornate bath accessories. Their customer base would grow significantly in the years that followed, and bath accessories would become their primary focus.

Now on the verge of thirty years, Mike + Ally has introduced arguably its most elegant, and most luxurious collection to date. The Swarovski Collection – actually a collection of seven Mike + Ally collections – has been meticulously designed, and incorporates a variety of carefully chosen Swarovski crystals. Ranging from the extravagant Biarritz collection to the most graceful Valencia and a highly refined Budapest collection, there is something for everyone.

You may view the new intros in PDF format here, or just scroll on below…

Celso de Lemos just sent us a list of nineteen new collections, as well as swatches for each.

The Celso de Lemos brand is named after – guess who – Celso de Lemos, perhaps best known as the founder of Abyss & Habidecor. As with Abyss & Habidecor’s towels and bath rugs, Celso de Lemos bedding is generally made to order in Portugal, and is marked by luxurious material, impeccable craftsmanship, and vibrant color. The line was first distributed about ten years ago, and has grown year by year into a fairly extensive line encompassing not only a diverse line of luxe bespoke bed linens, but also loungewear and table linens.

Celso de Lemos’ bedding is not eligible to be sold online in the United States, however the current catalog can be viewed here. Scroll on for a quick preview of the new collections; these new collections include a variety of soft throws, interesting jacquards, and also sheets woven of Giza 45 Egyptian Cotton (finally, a competitor for Sferra). A few of these collections were introduced in the Spring, but we just received swatches and catalogs last week…

Through the lens of Divine Grace, Jan Barboglio’s Fall ’20 Collection comes to life. Subtle shapes and limitless curves beg to be touched, prized not for their complexity but for their restraint and refinement. Cool leathery textures of wax cast iron, buttery silken ceramic, luxuriously soft velvet with glimmers of golden thread…all sensuous and reserved, all seductive yet steadfast…

“We believe in the thoughtfully layered home. That the best spaces come together with intention. That craftsmanship is something worth committing to. That a good rug does more than tie the room together – it sets the home apart.”

Loloi’s approach is simple: design rugs, pillows, and wall art for today’s homes, and bring it all to life with centuries-old craftsmanship. We mostly stock their dec pillows at The Linen Tree, but there is also an extensive array of rugs that can be ordered, as well. Below are a few choice shots from the most recent catalog (followed by the full catalog itself).
