Exquisite, Life Changing Mattresses
The mattresses we sell are primarily crafted by hand using fine, natural materials. They generally contain no irritants and no polyurethane foam. Polyurethane, common even amongst higher-end mattresses, is chemically made and contains known respiratory irritants.
Which brand is right for you?
The Linen Tree is the only retailer in Arizona to offer mattresses from both VI-Spring and Royal-Pedic. These are two of the finest brands on the market - and they complement one another more than they overlap. Between these two brands and options for customization, we are well equipped to help you find the mattress (and sleep) of your dreams.
Royal-Pedic mattresses have been crafted by hand in the greater Los Angeles area since 1946. They have graced the bedrooms of the White House as well as countless celebrity homes. VI-Spring mattresses were the first mattresses with pocketed springs. They are made in England, and have graced Buckingham Palace - as well as the Titanic.
Experience for yourself
Royal-Pedic is best known for its All Cotton mattress - a very firm mattress designed to provide orthopedic support. All Royal-Pedic mattresses have a firm core, and even the softer padding materials used in pillowtops and quilt tops (latex having a leading role) tend to have a resilient spring to them. On the other hand, VI-Spring mattresses tend to offer a softer, more traditional feel. The firmness of the pocketed springs can be customized completely, but they are always surrounded by soft padding materials (horsehair being the springiest, most resilient material used).
VI-Spring offers a lifetime warranty on all of its mattresses, as well as a 90 day comfort promise - if you are unsatisfied with your mattress, VI-Spring will swap out the springs at no charge to you (aside from freight charges) within 90 days of purchase. Whereas in many cases, Royal-Pedic does not accept returns or exchanges, and some of Royal-Pedic's mattresses are not designed to last for more than 10-20 years. The All Cotton mattress and its equivalents will typically last a very long time, but Royal-Pedic's warranty is only 10 years and impressions will form in padding materials over time.
VI-Spring offers an assortment of stylish divans (sophisticated boxspring platforms) and headboards as well as custom upholstery. Whereas Royal-Pedic is willing to manufacture a mattress in just about any size or shape that you can think of, and the mattress still ships from California. Overall, VI-Spring provides a higher-end product and experience, but Royal-Pedic mattresses tend to be less expensive while offering better support and better sleep for some. In the end, the two brands offer comparable value.
We keep five VI-Spring mattresses and two Royal-Pedic mattresses on our sales floor (usually hidden underneath featured bedding sets), in addition to pillowtop pads and product samples. You are welcome to stop by and lay down.
