Giotto Sateen by Barbacci

DESCRIPTION

Silky to the touch, highly customizable, and quite practical: Barbacci's Giotto fabric is a designer's best friend. Featuring long-staple Egyptian Cotton woven in Italy to a silky sateen, Giotto is available in 118 colors and is optionally adorned with your choice of embroidery, applique, lace, or pleat. In particular, more than 30 embroidered motifs are available in your choice(s) of 240 thread colors. And despite that these sheets and duvet covers are truly custom-made, orders are often ready for shipment to our customer within three weeks (but please allow up to five weeks or slightly longer).

Note that custom dimensions and a wider selection of designs (some new, some that simply haven't been uploaded) are available and swatches can be viewed at our store. You will have the opportunity to specify color preferences during checkout.

Also note that, in many instances, Barbacci's Lino 40 fabric (pure linen) can be substituted for a slight premium, and is also available in your choice of color. Premium cotton fabrics can also be substituted for an upcharge, but are generally available in White and Ivory only. These options include: 500 thread count percale, 600 thread count sateen, and 1000 thread count sateen (Giotto features a modest 300 thread count). Really, almost any fabric, including lyocell and silk, can usually be substituted in White and Ivory. (our customers usually stick with Giotto, due to color availability, feel, and price)

Whatever your choice, matching or otherwise "enhancing" fitted sheets can be purchased here; you are given the opportunity to choose from six choice Barbacci fabrics as well as a 15" drop, 17" drop, or 19" drop.

Please note: Barbacci is based in Italy and has no operations at all inside the United States. To avoid a minimum purchase policy and to prevent uncertainty, Barbacci charges its US retailers a $70 fee per shipment. The Linen Tree applies this fee to all online Barbacci orders on a per order basis.
